wrong recording list with local vdr server
« on: October 24, 2012, 19:06:36 »
Hi,

I have found a problem with a local vdr server.
If I connect the vompclient to a local vdr (by using the -s 127.0.0.1) Option, I get the recordings list of my other vdr PC.
OK, this is nice, since I have no recordings on my local vdr, but mainly not that, what I expected ;)

Well vomp uses the vdr functions to get the recordings, so I think this is a problem of the underlying vdr.
But it can also be that the reloading does not work, if no recording is present (I assume you had vomp running and connected to the external server before (same startup of vomp), test this with a dummy recording.

Yes, maybe I have connected the vomp before (for some tests) to the other VDR. I will test if this is the reason. But were does the vomp stores the recording listing, so that it is available after a vomp restart?

If you use the power key, then vomp does not restart.
If you really restarted vompclient executable, then some handling of the vdr and the plugin went wrong.

With restart I mean, to stop the vompclient and start it again with other options (an other IP to connect to).
