Hmmm it used to work...

However I'm now running CVS plus avvdr's extra patches (see the Media Player topic) and the client is now a little unstable. If I try to turn on subitles on a live programme, the MVP stops responding to the remote.

MartenR

Well, teletext is based on my patches for the windows client. I never tested it on mvp( I am only developing on windows), especially for deadlocks the behavoir might be different onh both plattforms.

@davep
How did you turn on subtitles with the green button and the menu?

The MVP client in CVS has subtitles enabled via the yellow button.

Ah, are we talking about teletext or subtitles, or are they the same?

The yellow button is for teletxt, you can watch teletext subs with the yellow button, but the prefered method is using the green button.
You should be able to select the subtitles together with the audio tracks, side by side.

They are not really the same, there is teletxt, teletxt subtitles( implemneted by me) and dvb subtitles(implemented by Mark.

Unfortunetely I was not able to test all combination,while making the selektor, since boardcasting of subtitles whether dvb or teletext is very limited in germany's cable.
