When I start my MediaMVP now, I get a "protocoll mismatch..." error.

Until here everything works fine, but 'dpkg-buildpackage' does not work:

There is no folder /source/vompserver/debian or file /source/vompserver/debian/changelog.

Yes, I think it is. I downloaded it yesterday from https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspbian/

2) I just forgot, you have to create a source tar in order, that debian is happy.  You can do this with create_source_tar script in the debian directory, but you may have to adjust the version number in the script. This is the cause for the error you get in the end.

That was the trick, all compiled now!
BTW: how can I disable compiler-warnings?

I can start the vompclient now, tomorrow I'll try to patch the server.

First of all, it is the first time I tried to compile something for vdr/linux, therefore I don't know if everything is correct.

I started with a "clean" Raspbian Jessie system.
First of all:

Does vompclient 0.4.2 fit to vompserver 0.4.1?

same issue here.
I used vomp on mvp for several years.

Now, I'd like to "update" my vdr to HD, and use vomp with HD as I used it before.
Is there any chance to get vomp to run on a RasPi2 with Raspbian Jessie?

I know this well.
My vdr now acts as DHCP-Server and it works fine.

Either upgrade your installation or compile the library on your own.

Well, I do not want an upgrade, because my system is running fine at the moment.

But I'll try to install VM on Windows an compile it there.

I tried your pre-compiled vompserver and dongle, but there are some libs missing. I tried to install them, but i did not manage all:

I made some more tests, and deactivated the DHCP-Server on my Router and activated dhcpd on my linvdr. Now it works. It looks like there are some troubles with the DHCP.

it lasts a very long time to boot the MVP. I can't say it exactly at the moment, but I think about 3-4 minutes.
Can yout tell my how I can overwrite the MVP's IP that it uses an IP given by the vompserver. I did not manage it by now.

watching the network with ethereal, i can see the same thing: MVP geht's IP from Hardware-Router by DHCP, get's dongle.bin from vdr, booting with dongle.bin, request a new IP, but get's none. I cannot ping the MVP, and the MAC-Address is not listet in the arp-table any more. It is the same even if I use a sw-dhcp-server on windows for testing.
