MediaMVP-HD - VDR - possible or not?
« on: May 10, 2012, 09:28:37 »
ok i finally figured out, that there is no way to use the mediamvp hd with vomp and good old vdr. Imagine i tried the known way booting by tftp for 2days ... uncountable tries. So i try at last the easy way. Is there any method to get this thing working as a Stream Client or not?? Thank you in advance for every short answer!

There is no possibility to do this with VOMP, not now and most propabely never in future.
Reason:
No access via software to the hardware decoder, which we have for den MVP but not for the MVP HD. The HD has a completely different hardware architecture.

You may use the UPNP functionality, but AFAIK it is not maintained for VDR anymore.
