vompclient starts fine as well, finds the server and displays the main menu.

Tryining watching live TV reproducably crashes the client.  For half a second or so, the window goes black plus shows the program OSD, then the client crashes.

The client crashes as well when doing this: go to Options, step arrow right to "remote control", step arrow right to "video filter", client crashes before showing the video filter tab.

This does not produce any additional logs on the server.

Seems that the client does not like my codecs. Any hints for getting things working?

Hi,
install Direct Show Filter Manager and write down the audio and video filter with the highest Merit.
Also I am now aware that there might be  abug that vomp crashes, if no suitable audio and video filter are installed.

No Mpeg2 video decoder and ac3 decoder filter are installed. Install them and it should work (read readme for details)
