Hi,
attached is an executable with scraper support and vector based osd. (see http://forum.loggytronic.com/index.php?topic=753.0)
The legacy version has the old osd and should run also on XP, the improved version needs at least vista with plattform update.

Please go to the scraper support branch of vomp.
There I have adapted vomp to the changes in the new version of libav.
The old code is just not working with the new libs. (If you do not want to use the new branch, you may just replace the audioomx files).

Hi all,

Always when I am going to play with vompclient I keep forgetting which command line parameters I need to get the logging on screen. The "usage" message when doing vompclient -h does not help me, so here is a patch to improve the help message:

VOMP for Raspberry Pi / compiling git problem?

Hi all,

When compiling GIT version of vompclient on Raspi (which is current on Raspbian) first I have to install a new package to fullfill a new dependency:
apt-get install libavresample-dev   (documenting this for others).

But then I come in to this error:

I tried fiddling around:

-adding a "#include <libavutil/channel_layout.h>" to audioomx.h
then new errors occur, solving them:
-adding -fpermissive flag to CXXFLAGS_DEV in GNUMakefile
-adding -ldl and -lfontconfig to LIBS in GNUMakefile

..then it compiles but audio is some kind of "Donald Duck" like sound.

What am I doing wrong?

Can you please do the following at the vompserver?
Go into the file recplayer.cc to the method "unsigned long RecPlayer::getBlock(unsigned char* buffer, ULLONG position, unsigned long amount)"
and change "fseek" to "fseeko" and recompile the server.
And tell me if this fixed the problem.

1) We are using the framenumber as index, so what does the recording time say (if you hit ok), does it jump backward or does it stay at advanced time?

It doesn't jump backwards, the time and the bar locks ok (they are advancing as if nothing happened), there are some disturbances on the screen (probably because of broken frames). Only if I stop the playback and start (resume) it I can see that die playback actually jumped back.

3) Do you use the windows client or mvp client? If yes does it happen there as well?

I don't own a MVP, but I can install it on windows if it helps.

2) A log of the serverside would be helpful, especially the " "getblock pos = %llu length = %lu" messages will help, where the problem is. (server or client side).

Hi,
well, I do not use files larger than 4 GB (since some file systems and network have still the 4 GB restriction).
So it is hard for me to debug it.
But anyway, can you please answer the following questions:
1) We are using the framenumber as index, so what does the recording time say (if you hit ok), does it jump backward or does it stay at advanced time?
2) A log of the serverside would be helpful, especially the " "getblock pos = %llu length = %lu" messages will help, where the problem is. (server or client side).
3) Do you use the windows client or mvp client? If yes does it happen there as well?
