Hi,
Is it just me or does someone else suffer from following error:
1) When I turn on my TV and Raspberry Pi with vompclient on MLD, everything works flawlessly (well, except the ui is in english and I'm from Finland) :)
2) When I turn my TV off, it (the TV shuts down as it should)
3) When I turn my TV on, it turns on and gives me "No Signal" -message.

Raspberry Pi is on (I have ssh connection to it online), but I can't get vompserver (or RPi) to send picture to TV.

RPi: Linux MLD 3.6.11.158 #1 PREEMPT

VOMP General / MVP / Any replacement for MediaMVP?
October 05, 2010, 13:22:28
Now that it seems that Hauppauge doesn't do those MediaMVP -boxes anymore, is there any replacement for the hardware?

Hi,

Is there plan to implement UTF-8 to vompserver (and/or dongle)?

I'm planning to make a new VDR and I'd like to use UTF-8 (as it is default with all current distributions AFAIK).
Is this possible or should I change default locale to ISO-8859-15?

Hi,

Is there a way to "force" DVB (and maybe teletext) subtitles to certain language?

My kids use our MVP and it would be nice to have desired language as default.
They know how to change audio, but it would be nice to be able to make a default (as with VDR).
Setting could be done through config -file in server or with MVP itself.

Thanks for the great piece of software. It works like a charm! :)

Is there any plans to support DVB subtitles in Vomp for Windows?

I have some "disturbance in force" (wife gives some notifications) :) because I can't make subtitles to show.
Problem is that there is some channels in Finland that uses DVB subtitles (that's not the problem) and I can't get them to show on the other part (bedroom) of our house (that's the problem).

I have VDR 1.6.0-1 and vompserver 0.3.0.
I can't get subtitles to show with my MediaMVP or Vomp for Windows.
I'd prefer MediaMVP, but Windows would do the trick too.

I know I could make streamserver client VDR, but I don't like the idea having yet another computer while I have MVP (and Windows -machine).

November 14, 2007, 10:07:19
Is there or will there be support for external remuxer in vompserver (like streamdev)?
