Nice to have :

To stream a VCD,SVCD or DVD over the MVP
( if the necessarry plugins also included in the VDR )

In the morning I've check out the new Server and the dongle 0.17

Now I have problems ( VDR 1.3.37 ) with stottering LiveTV :(

I've had a long time ago the same problem with the MVP MediaPlugin and after make the buffer greater the Error was gone. I've a WLAN Bridge, between the MVP & VDR and so the bitrate could be variable ... With the current Plugin-MediaMVP I have no problem with LiveTV ... ( Retest )

Edit_on:
If I switch to LiveTV , I receive the message"Channel not available" and then the TV Picture is comming, but freeze after time.( the message is still standing in the middle of screen ) The timeout time should be to short ??

On the TV, where the MVP is connected, you can select a Menue point Option (settings?) in the MVP Menue. There you can select PAL

Folk don't hit me   ::)

The plugin vdr-plugin-MVP has this feature and it also stable. You must only create your stream list ....

But VOMP looks better ;)

You can change in settings, if you want to have NTSC or Pal as output . Default is NTSC :it must be change.
Thats all ;)

VOMP General / MVP / Re: prevent vdr from shutdown
November 01, 2005, 10:47:12
Hmmm, check for plugin ... I don't know....
It is possible to write in the /var/tmp directory e.g. a small file "MVPisON", if the MVP connected to the VDR. This small file can be check via script and the VDR will not shut down.
Only the way to delete the file needs to be going through the brain.
I think its not enough, if the file will be delete, if the MVP goes off ( e.g. Network problems, reboot ... ) or does the VOMP Server know at every moment, if the MVP active ( on and not in standby) ?

If not:

It is possibel, that the MVP send a small status every e.g.15 min. to the VOMP Server, if he active. If the Server received this one. he did not delete this file.If this MSG missing 2 times + e.g. 5min. he delete the File and the VDR can shutdown.

VOMP General / MVP / Re: New Features

the timeshift function is now vailable for the VDR :) . In the plugin setting, you can say, how much Memory the funktion can be use on HDD and if you want to use the TimeShift or not.

Is it now only the question, if the MVP VOMP Software supported the "Pause" and Replay Key in the LiveTV option .

In this contense a bloody question:

It is possible to insert the "OK" button in play Mode ( for streamed Records and LiveTV Timeshift ) to see the MARK from Noad and jump via key 7 and 9 to the next or previews mark. I`m with the jumping to stupid ;) at the MVP. This will be a very nice feature ...

VOMP General / MVP / Re: VOMP and the 10MBit issue

Its work !!!
LiveTV and Records over :
VDR=cable Network 100MBit -> Switch -> Router SMS2804V2..... WLAN-Bridge..... SMS2804V2->MVP

Radio does not work in this moment, but this it not new .

THANKS FOR the CHANGE CODE

VOMP from CVS 16.10.05 Dongle 0.0.15

Software:Kernel 2.4.31 Debian,VDR 1.3.32,DVB1.1.1,Autotimeredit,analogTV,graphlcd,dvd,vdrcd,femon,mp3,mplayer,remote, powermate,text2skin,vcd,mediamvp,burn,noad,dvdselect,Radio,skinelchi,submen,vomp,xxvsutotimer(disabled),vdradmin,TvMovie2VDR,convert,

VOMP General / MVP / VOMP -> LiveStream and Records
October 22, 2005, 01:16:51
Hallo everybody,
sorry for my bad english, I 'm from German and use also 1-2 MVP's  at teh VDR.

First posting:first dummy questions ;)

I have the VDR1.3.32 in use at Kernel 2.4.31.
If I want to stream Live TV, I get the most of time -> Channel not available ( I think the Msg. was this one. ) After reboots of MVP its works sometimes ...
The MVP is connect via WLAN-Brige. With the other MediaMvp Plugin, its works with different dongle.bin.
I have the sources here from CVS and the newst dongle.bin for VOMP

Good Things for VOMP :Radiochannels from channels.conf.
Nice to have : *.wav support ( normal audio CDs are showed as wav files. / mount drives like MP3 Player /and for S/VCD & DVD's

But first of all, the normal streaming should be work
