Hi there!

I'd like to ask, if it would be possible to have Audioplayback a little more comfortable?

Atm, when playing an audio album, it stops playing once the folder is through.
Is there a possibility, to have it play something like "All from here"?

We do have "Play" & "Ok" for to play the subdir or just a track. With "Play" it always only plays the last subdir's content.
What about a "Play the whole subdir"/"All from here" function?

Example:

artist/
artist/album1/
artist/album1/track1.mp3
artist/album1/track2.mp3
artist/album2/
artist/album2/track1.mp3

With "Play" on "artist", it plays track1 & 2 and stops playing. With "Ok" on any track, it plays that track. With "All from here", it would play all tracks within "artist"

Possible?

Someone able to provide a mencoder call for to convert mpeg1 to mpeg2?

Is there still development planed to get this bug in the player fixed?
How could the mencoder call be modified to get a workaround?

What about wmv? Someone got a mencoder call on this?

Am I the only one that has more formats than just mpeg2?
Maybe we could collect the converters for various formats somewhere?

Hi there 

First I like to give thx for the mediaplayer !!! I couldn't live without it! How else could I hear "" for to fall asleep 

I now tried the newest version (0.2.7-6.1) with videos ... and I've got a few questions:

1.)
Videos in

MPEG sequence, v2, program multiplex

running well 

But what about vids in:

MPEG sequence, v1, system multiplex

These are running, but I have no sound ?!
Do I need a new converter therefor?

2.)
Some AVIs are displayed too high (like pic-black-black, instead of black-pic-black)?! How do I get these displayed correctly?

3.)
What is the difference between "letter" and "clipfactor" for pictures? They look the same?!

Just stumbled across this great great new feature!

The missing media-playback was the only drawback that keeps me from using vompserver

If movie-playback will come, too (would be cool if even server-side recoding of other formats than mpeg is possible) I have no wishes left!

Hi there ... congrats to that piece of software!

Haven't tried Vomp yet, but I have compiled the plugin already and will test it asap!

My question is as follows:
Can someone give me an idea of a roadmap regarding support of other media (pics, vids, musik) ?

I have read that mplayer support will be there "tomorrow" 

So is it realy planed to support other media ?
On Vomp's homepage I see a list of features/bugs which are implemented ... but no roadmap for further media-support.
