Hi everybody,

I just read on the German IT news portal Golem (http://golem.de/0601/42740.html) that Hauppauge announced an update to the MediaMVP supporting Wireless communication. See English article here: http://uk.us.biz.yahoo.com/bw/060105/20060105005754.html?.v=1
As I understand it, the new device also natively supports DivX videos.

I hope vomp will work on it without too many changes.... :-\

Just searched the forum and several other websites, but nothing can be found about vompserver and divx? Can i use divx-recordings with mediamvp and vomp?

No, the hardware of the mvp only supports mpeg2. Divx video is afaik transcoded in the hauppauge software on the server. So there is no support inside vomp and I think it would be by design not possible to include it.
