Title: Telnet open on MVP
Post by: Harry on January 18, 2006, 07:14:56
hi Chris,

is there any special reason to keep the telnet port open on
the MVP? ???
presumably for debugging...

cheers
Harry

It is good to offer the possibility to run vompclient -d (debug) in case someone finds a bug (the log displayed would help). Why, what is your situation and why do you want telnet restricted?

i do not want to restrict it yet *g*
as long as noone can screw up the MVP via telnet.

Well it is possible to stop the vompclient using telnet... There aren't many tools in the dongle file system so I think it would be difficult to do more than that.
