hi Axel,

could be your mpeg codec ... i remember reading something about
it in this forum.

you could, of course, use vdr channel chooser http://www.0x13.de/index.php/tools/37-tools/44-vdr-channel-chooser.html (http://www.0x13.de/index.php/tools/37-tools/44-vdr-channel-chooser.html)
in conjunction with VLC http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/)
as an alternative (provided that you are also running the streamdev plugin
on your VDR)

cheers

You can try to select another video codec...

So tell me the name and version number of the video codec, just go to the properties menu
Or just wait for 0.2.8, I think that some of the issues leading to a crash in vista, that will be fix then, might also lead to crash in other windows versions.

Yes,
from the readme:

Compatible MPEG2 decoders:
* Cyberlink PowerDVD 5 (build 2214 and later, look for the update at cyberlinks webpage)
so update to build 2214, there is a update somewhere in the web, which adds vmr9 support, so that vomp can run.(The link might be in this forum or on vdr-portal.de)
This information was right for <0.2.7, but I think it would be also correct for 0.2.7, please report if it works.

I personally use PowerDVD 6, so this should work also.
