yes - it's half a millisecond
I did the test with waiting some mintues but it even got worse.

the next thing I will investigate on, is using another (old) machine as server - maybe the one I currently use isn't good enough for streaming (if I remember correctly, it's a 233 ...)

acutally I'm also on a 100mb at home but I doubt whether everythin is fine - if I ping the MVP from the VDR (with the MVP waiting on the menu screen) I'm somewhere around 0.500 ms - but at the office with a similar setup I have ping times beeween stations around 0.125 ms - any experience, what normal ping times in a 100mb network should be?

I have the picture disruptions also when viewing live channels - but i'm not sure whether this is vomp based or due to the network I use

what are typical ping-response times from the VDR to the MVP in your setups?

fyi - adding a second receiver card (which i wanted to install for weeks) solved the problem - maybe there was another process using the channel

Hi Chris, I'm impressed !

Some days ago I first saw your client and tarcked since then this forum - great how you are assisting users.

When I first installed it, tow days ago I remaraked that vomp shows some channels as unavailable which are available using the "standard" mediamvp plugin - I will test it with the actual version later today (I can't do it now as it is a rainy sunday ... the family wouldn't be happpy to shutdown the system now <g>)

In general, when you publish a new dongle version, do I also need to install an actual server version?

thanks
